Privacy Policy

QuoteNook · Effective September 9, 2026

QuoteNook has no accounts and no sign-in. What you write stays on your device, and the developer cannot read it.

What is not collected

• Personal details such as your name, email address, or phone number
• The books you read, the sentences you save, or your reading records
• Advertising or analytics that track usage. The app bundles no third-party libraries at all

What leaves your device

A request leaves the device only when you search for a book.

• The words you type are sent to: National Library of Korea, Kakao, Google Books, Open Library
• Fetching a cover image may leave connection records (such as your IP address) with those services
• No reading records and no account information are sent along with these requests
• Whatever those services record is governed by their own policies

Camera

You can photograph a page so the text on it can be recognized. Recognition happens on the device. The photo never leaves the device and is not stored. The camera is used only while you use this feature.

Notifications

Reading reminders are scheduled on the device. Nothing is sent anywhere to deliver them.

Payment

Premium is purchased through Apple. The developer never receives card or payment details, and only whether Premium was purchased is checked on the device.

Keeping and deleting

Your writing stays on the device and is removed when the app is deleted. The developer keeps no copy of it.

Children

This app is not directed at children. It does not ask for an age or collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, this page is updated along with the effective date above.
